Job description
City of Oak Harbor is seeking firefighters to perform firefighting and emergency medical duties across a 48/96 shift pattern on Whidbey Island. The role requires rigorous training, equipment maintenance, and teamwork in high-stress situations.
Candidates must be WA Paramedic certified or equivalent and hold a valid state driver’s license. A CDL endorsement or EVIP may be required; interview and medical exams are part of the process.
