Firefighter ParamedicThe City of Hapeville is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter Paramedic or Paramedic.Competitive Starting PayIncredible Retirement PackageDefined Benefit Pension ProgramHoliday, Sick and Vacation Leave457 Investment OpportunityJoin the Hapeville Team!Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responds to emergency calls for fire suppression.Responds to medical calls and transport.Responds to Hazardous material incidents.Operates, drive, utilizes and/or maintains various firefighting and medical equipmentOperate a personal computer or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.Makes periodic public presentations.Fire safety training develops, plans and participates in Fire prevention/safetyMinimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. State of Georgia Basic Firefighter Certification or completion within one (1) year. (Department provides training). Must be a Paramedic in the State of Georgia. Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certification.
