Part-Time FirefighterThe Fox Crossing Fire Department is creating an eligibility list for the position of Part-Time Firefighter. Those hired will assist in providing coverage between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and around the clock on the weekends from Friday evening through Monday morning (12-hour shifts). Applicants filling these positions will need to work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month.The position requires skills and abilities in Fire and EMS emergency response, fire inspections, apparatus driving and operation (if certified), public education, and customer service. A detailed position description is available by request.Minimum Job Requirements:18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with a good driving recordState of Wisconsin Firefighter I certificationState of Wisconsin Driver Operator – Pumper certification (desired)Current State of Wisconsin EMS First Responder Certification or higherCompletion of NIMS 100,200, and 700All applicable certificates should be attached and submitted with the online application.
