Firmware DeveloperGeneral firmware development tasks:UART/I2C/SPI communicationClient relatedPWM controlMotor controlWireless power transfer related:FSK communicationASK communicationOther skills:Strong knowledge in electronic technologies and domain knowledgeExpected to have knowledge and experience in multiple engineering disciplinesExperience in DFT (Design for Test)Must have Managed Test software/hardware in manufacturing environmentMust have experience with motors and motor controlMust have experience of analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuit designMust have experience of at least one high-level programming languageExperience of SMT and through-hole PCB design for downhole toolsExperience of firmware in C and assembler for an embedded targetAwareness of ROHS compliance and high-temperature solder techniquesDemonstrated experience with and/or an understanding of open and closed loop feedback control systems modeling and design, electro-mechanical modeling, and designThis may include any or all of the following: Programmable logic controllers (PLC's); Relay logic; Electric motors (AC and DC); Motor controllers (variable frequency, DC, stepper and servo drives); Mechanical systems and subsystems (e.g., cables, springs, actuators, hydraulics, brakes, casters, etc.)Keywords are:Motor controlC/C++Mixed signal circuit designWireless power transfer
