Title: Firmware QA Engineer
Location: New Haven, CT – Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 +Bonus

What You'll Be Doing
Develop automated firmware tests using Python, Robot Framework, and similar tools.
Design and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing frameworks for embedded systems.
Work closely with firmware and hardware engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Git and Bitbucket.
Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment to validate hardware and firmware.
Help improve test automation processes and contribute to new product development.
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience in firmware QA, embedded systems testing, or a related engineering role.
Strong Python scripting and test automation skills.
Experience with Robot Framework, PyTest, or similar testing tools.
Understanding of embedded firmware and hardware/software integration.
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other electronic test equipment.
Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience with HIL testing, CAN, USB, UART, SPI, Ethernet, or Jira would be a plus.
