nWe’re looking for a fun, energetic FIRST® LEGO® League Coach to help kids ages 8–14 build robots, tackle challenges, and develop real-world teamwork and problem-solving skills!
nSchedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:00–6:20 PM
nWhat You’ll Do:
nCoach students through LEGO® robotics and coding challenges
nHelp teams design, build, test, and improve their robots
nEncourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
nKeep practices organized, positive, and FUN!
nHelp prepare teams for FIRST® LEGO® League competitions

nEnjoy working with kids
nAre dependable, patient, and energetic
nLike STEM, robotics, engineering, or technology
nCan learn alongside students — robotics experience is a plus, but not required!

nOther Responsibilities:
nLead groups students through curriculum-guided activities
nInstruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
nManage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
nMaintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology
nEncourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies
nAdequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions
nHandle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
nEncourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs
nParticipate in periodic Snapology training & staff meetings, as required
nQualifications:
nCriminal and Child Clearances must be current
n2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
nEducation degree or teaching experience recommended, teachers, pursuing a degree in education will also be considered for this position
nAbility to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
nAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writing
nProven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
