Houston, TX $140,000 - $200,000 Base Salary + Bonus Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled First-Party Property Litigation Attorney to join our growing Houston office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 3+ years of first-party property insurance litigation experience who wants to handle meaningful, high-impact cases while being supported by one of the largest plaintiff-focused property damage practices in the country.

Responsibilities

Manage a docket of first-party property insurance cases from inception through resolution

Handle claims involving hurricane, wind, hail, fire, water, roof, and other property losses

Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

Take and defend depositions

Attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel

Work closely with clients, public adjusters, experts, and damage consultants

Collaborate with a team of experienced property litigation attorneys on case strategy

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Active Texas Bar license

3+ years of first-party property litigation experience

Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management skills

Experience handling insurance coverage disputes and property damage claims

Trial experience is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
