Job description
Ocean Associates Incorporated seeks a highly qualified statistician to support NOAA Fisheries, Northwest Fisheries Science Center, FE Division, in Seattle. You will conduct advanced quantitative analyses, develop probabilistic models, and support study design and data curation for salmon ecology research.
The role requires a PhD in statistics or related field, 6+ years of experience, and strong skills in R, Stan, JAGS, Linux, and C/C++ interfacing. Travel and fieldwork may be involved.
