Job description
Fitter / WelderWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Fitter / Welder to join our fabrication team. You will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding metal components according to drawings, specifications, and production requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructionsFit, align, and assemble structural metal componentsPerform MIG, TIG, and stick welding as requiredMeasure, cut, and prepare materials for fabricationOperate welding machines, grinders, drills, and other fabrication toolsInspect welds and assemblies for quality, fit, and accuracyPerform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issuesMaintain a safe and organized work areaFollow safety procedures and meet production schedulesQualificationsPrevious experience as a fitter, welder, fabricator, or similar roleExperience with MIG, TIG, or stick weldingAbility to read blueprints and fabrication drawingsAbility to use basic measuring toolsKnowledge of metal fabrication and welding processesStrong mechanical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
