## Fixed Assets Manager**Phoenix,AZ85028**Posted: 09/08/2026Employment Type:Direct HireCategory: F&A - Accounting - Accounting LeaderJob Number: Work Location: On-Site## Job Description**Role**: Manager, Fixed Asset Accounting **Location**: Phoenix, AZ 85028 **Setting**: Hybrid (In office Tues - Thurs/ Remote Mon & Fri) **Oversee**: 4 Direct Reports Seeking a hands-on accounting leader to oversee fixed asset accounting for a high-volume, $1B+ asset portfolio. This role serves as the company’s fixed asset subject matter expert, leading a team of four while driving process improvements, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities*** Lead all fixed asset accounting activities, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and construction-in-progress accounting.* Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and period-end reporting.* Partner cross-functionally to establish and improve fixed asset policies, processes, and best practices.* Maintain SOX-compliant controls and support internal and external audits.* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.* Develop, mentor, and manage a team of four accounting professionals.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.* 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.* 2-3+ years of people management experience.* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, fixed asset accounting, and internal controls.* Experience managing high-volume fixed asset portfolios ($1B+ preferred).* Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience required.* SEC reporting experience is a plus.* Retail, grocery, or restaurant industry experience preferred.**Ideal candidate:** A detail-oriented, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance day-to-day execution with process improvement and team development.
