Fixed Maintenance Supervisor
Johnson Service Group is looking for a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor with 3–5 years of maintenance experience, including underground hard rock mining preferred/required. This is a Direct Hire Job in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.
Salary:
110K DOE.
Summary: The Fixed Maintenance Supervisor oversees hourly maintenance staff and preventive maintenance for surface and underground fixed equipment. This role reports to the Fixed Maintenance Foreman and supports/backs up the Foreman as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise execution of preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs on fixed equipment assets.
Coordinate contract maintenance work and ensure compliance with PM schedules.
Partner with Planning and Operations to ensure work is properly planned, scheduled, and executed to support production needs.
Assign work orders, monitor progress during the shift, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Support emergency maintenance of hoists, chillers, pumps, compressors, and other underground fixed plant infrastructure.
Participate in risk assessments and SOP development; inspect work in progress and completed work for quality/reliability.
Complete required documentation and CMMS entries (shift reports, material requests, timecards, etc.).
Lead, coach, and manage hourly employees in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and the collective bargaining agreement.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required (technical/vocational associate degree preferred).
3–5 years of maintenance experience, including underground hard rock mining preferred/required.
Strong understanding of underground mining operations and fixed plant equipment/maintenance processes.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Prior supervisory experience preferred; strong communication skills and attention to detail.
