Job description
The Fleet Automotive Technician inspects, diagnoses, and repairs USPS delivery and transport vehicles to keep mail operations running safely and reliably. Working on-site in a postal vehicle maintenance setting, this role performs engine, brake, steering, suspension, electrical, drivetrain, and preventive maintenance tasks, uses appropriate tools and safety procedures, and documents work accurately while following USPS fleet, safety, and operational standards.
