Fleet ClerkWe are looking for a Fleet Clerk to help keep our rental vehicles organized, maintained, and ready for customers at Salt Lake City International Airport. This hands-on position is an important part of our rental car and fleet operations, working behind the scenes to make sure vehicles are available when and where they are needed.The right candidate enjoys staying active, working outdoors, paying attention to details, and taking pride in keeping vehicles in excellent condition. This position is well suited for someone with experience in fleet operations, vehicle detailing, automotive service, transportation, logistics, or rental car operations, as well as candidates who are interested in learning the industry.Vehicle Care & ReadinessClean, vacuum, and prepare rental cars for their next customerWash and maintain the interior and exterior appearance of vehiclesRefuel vehicles and check basic fluid levels, including oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluidWalk around vehicles to identify new damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issuesDocument and communicate vehicle condition concerns to the appropriate team membersMake sure vehicles meet company standards before being placed back into rental serviceFleet & Lot OperationsMove and park cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans throughout the airport rental facilityOrganize vehicles according to fleet availability and operational needsHelp maintain an orderly, clean, and safe vehicle lotAssist with vehicle inventory counts, lot inspections, and fleet auditsHelp manage the flow of vehicles during high-volume periodsAssist with removing snow, ice, debris, and other materials from vehicles and work areas as neededTransportation & Team SupportDrive vehicles between the airport, rental branches, service facilities, and other company locationsAssist with vehicle check-in and check-out proceduresCommunicate vehicle availability, damage, maintenance needs, and other concerns to operations and service personnelWork with the rental and fleet teams to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the operationPerform additional fleet-related tasks as neededWhat We OfferBi-weekly hourly payVacation, paid time off, and holiday payMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance available after 60 daysFlexible Spending Account (FSA) option401(k) retirement plan with company matchOpportunities for advancement and career developmentHands-on training and opportunities to build new skillsWe are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an active environment.Physical RequirementsThis is an active, hands-on fleet operations and vehicle service position. The job requires:Standing and walking for extended periodsFrequent bending, reaching, and moving around vehiclesRepeatedly getting in and out of vehiclesWorking outdoors for portions of the shiftAbility to lift and carry up to 30 poundsAbility to safely operate and reposition vehicles throughout the workdayAbout the RoleEvery rental depends on having a clean, inspected, and available vehicle ready when the customer arrives. As a Fleet Clerk, you will help make that happen. Your work directly supports our airport rental operation by keeping vehicles moving through cleaning, inspection, fueling, maintenance, and rental readiness.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredValid Utah driver's license and acceptable driving historyComfortable operating different types of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, trucks, and vansAble to work independently while also communicating effectively with a teamStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresReliable and able to maintain productivity in a fast-moving operationWilling to work outdoors in changing Utah weather, including heat, cold, snow, and rainAvailability for flexible scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidaysEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening
