Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Fleet & Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and machinery, including trucks, small engines, and hydraulic systems. Working within a small team and reporting to the fleet manager, this role focuses on diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and equipment service to ensure optimal performance and safety. There is no travel required, and growth opportunities include specialization, advancement to lead technician, and cross-training across equipment types.
Responsibilities
Perform equipment repair and truck maintenance
Service and troubleshoot small engines
Conduct diagnostics and preventive maintenance
Maintain hydraulic systems and perform welding tasks
Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with preventive maintenance
Small engine repair skills
Proficiency with diagnostic tools
Welding abilities
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective time management
