nResponsibilities: n
nPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet vehicles
nDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools
nConduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
nComplete brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs
nMaintain accurate service records and repair documentation
nCoordinate with dispatch and operations to minimize vehicle downtime
nIdentify and order necessary parts and supplies to complete repairs efficiently
n nRequirements: n
nPrior experience as a fleet technician, diesel mechanic, or automotive technician
nProficiency in diagnosing and repairing light, medium, or heavy-duty vehicles
nFamiliarity with DOT regulations and vehicle compliance standards
nAbility to use diagnostic software and hand/power tools effectively
nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety
nASE certification(s) but not required
nReliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
