Flex Security Officer – On-Call, As-NeededAt United Protective Services, our people are our greatest asset. In return, we provide training, support, and opportunities you need to succeed.United Protective Services is hiring dependable, professional On-Call Flex Security Officers to provide coverage at multiple client locations in College Station, TX, and Bremond, TX.This is an on-call, as-needed position — NOT a full-time position. Flex Officers are contacted when coverage is needed due to employee call-outs, approved time-off requests, and other staffing needs. Work is not guaranteed, and hours will vary based on operational requirements.Applicants MUST be able to travel to BOTH College Station and Bremond, TX. Candidates who cannot reliably travel to both locations will not be considered.Pay Rates$21.00 per hour when assigned to the Bremond, TX solar site$17.00 per hour when assigned to College Station, TX locationsCompensation is based on the location where the shift is worked.Schedule & AvailabilityOn-Call | As Needed | No Guaranteed HoursThis position is designed to provide staffing support when other officers are unavailable.Flex Officers will be contacted to work when:An officer calls out and a shift needs coverage.An employee submits a time-off request that requires replacement coverage.Additional staffing support is needed at an assigned location.Assignments may include:Day shiftsEvening shiftsOvernight shiftsWeekendsHolidaysCandidates must maintain flexible availability and be prepared to work varying shifts based on staffing needs. The frequency of calls and available hours will depend on operational requirements.Position OverviewAs an On-Call Flex Security Officer, you will provide security coverage at multiple client sites, including a solar energy facility in Bremond and various locations throughout College Station.This role is best suited for individuals who have flexible schedules, reliable transportation, and the ability to respond when coverage is needed. Officers must be comfortable working at different locations and adapting to site-specific procedures and expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide security coverage at assigned client locations when called upon.Travel between College Station and Bremond, TX, as required.Monitor entrances, exits, and designated security areas.Observe and report suspicious activity, security concerns, and safety hazards.Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports.Follow all client-specific procedures, post orders, and company policies.Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.Adapt quickly to different assignments, schedules, and site requirements.Minimum QualificationsValid Texas Level II Security Officer License or the ability to obtain one.Must be able to travel to BOTH College Station, TX, and Bremond, TX.Reliable transportation to and from all assigned locations.Flexible availability for varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays.Ability to accept assignments based on operational needs.Professional appearance and dependable attendance.Important Information for ApplicantsThis is NOT a full-time position.This is an ON-CALL, AS-NEEDED position.Hours are not guaranteed and will depend on staffing needs.Officers will be contacted when shifts need coverage due to call-outs, employee time off, or other operational requirements.The ability to travel to BOTH College Station and Bremond, TX, is mandatory.Additional Information / BenefitsBenefits: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision InsuranceThis job reports to the Client Service ManagerThis is a Part-Time positionRelocation is not provided and travel is required occasionally
