Press / Print Operating Technician IITaylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate printing equipment while ensuring jobs meet production, quality, and safety standards.Your responsibilities include:Follow detailed job orders and identify and correct potential errors or problemsSet up and adjust press equipment to meet job specificationsMonitor product quality throughout production and make adjustments as neededMonitor equipment during production and report mechanical issues to maintenanceStart and run jobs according to the production schedulePerform routine equipment maintenance and upkeepMeet established standards for production output, waste, and spoilageFollow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work areaComplete production logs and related paperwork accuratelyOperate equipment that may include complex multi-color and multi-process inline equipment and high-speed multi-color digital presses with finishing capabilitiesYour shift is 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, Monday - Friday.You must have:Mechanical and technical skills or aptitudeBasic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimizationAbility to operate equipment to meet established production and quality standardsAbility to understand verbal and written work instructionsAbility to communicate professionallyStrong attention to detailRequirements within this position include:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We would also prefer:Ability to distinguish colorsExperience in a production-related environmentAbout Taylor Corporation: One of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services, and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
