In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed labels and packaging materials that meet customer specifications.The ideal candidate has experience operating flexographic presses, enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing quality work while maintaining safety and equipment reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret job orders, work instructions, and production specificationsSet up flexographic printing presses for productionStart and operate printing pressesRun approval samples and inspect printed materials before full production beginsInspect printed product throughout production for quality issuesMake machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality standardsMix inks to achieve proper color matching and viscosity requirementsClean printing plates, cylinders, dies, and press componentsPerform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on assigned equipmentMaintain accurate production documentation and communicate production issues to supervisorsKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company housekeeping standardsFollow all company safety procedures and quality control requirementsQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of flexographic printing press experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret production documents and work ordersAbility to perform basic mathAbility to accurately read rulers, scales, and precision measuring devicesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentDependable attendance and strong work ethicPreferred BackgroundsFlexographic printingLabel manufacturingPackaging productionIndustrial machine operationPrinting press operationManufacturing production environmentsWork EnvironmentManufacturing production facilityFast-paced printing and converting environmentStanding and walking for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent interaction with production equipment, inks, and printing materialsTeam-oriented workplace focused on quality, efficiency, and safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistanceFrequent standing and walking throughout the workdayAbility to perform repetitive production tasksStrong manual dexterity for machine setup and adjustmentsClose vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are requiredComfortable working around industrial printing equipment and production machineryCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceStable full-time position with long-term career opportunitiesOngoing training and skill developmentOpportunity to work with advanced flexographic printing equipmentTeam-oriented manufacturing environmentComprehensive benefits package availableIf you have experience operating flexographic printing presses and take pride in producing high-quality printed products, we'd love to hear from you.
