Facility CoordinatorThis is a FlexSteel position and is located in Baytown, TX. FlexSteel is an innovation-driven flexible pipe technology company. FlexSteel embodies teamwork with a focus on hiring top talent and developing employees.The Facility Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the general upkeep, safety, and functionality of the manufacturing facility and its support systems. This role coordinates facility-related services, manages contractors and service providers, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Facility Coordinator works closely with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, and other departments to support a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual in this position must use initiative and judgment arranging job details to achieve predetermined objectives. Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, lighting, air compressors plumbing, cranes, water treatment, chillers, camera systems, fire emergency systems and other building infrastructure. Schedule and oversee work performed by external contractors and service providers. Manage facility inspections, compliance checks, and regulatory documentation. Support planning and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and shutdowns. Maintain records of facility assets, warranties, and service agreements. Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate corrective actions. Communicate facility status, issues, and improvement opportunities to the Maintenance Manager and team. Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in facility coordination or management in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with CMMS platform (eMaint preferred). High School Diploma or GED required. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
