nnnProvides direction to primarily hourly/non-exempt subordinates using established policies and precedents.

nnAdministers and executes policies and procedures that typically affect individual subordinate employees.

nnEnsures company, customer, engineering, and service guidance specifications/regulations are met.

nnResponsible for driving and adjusting as necessary work assignments to meet mission goals.

nnEnsures that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.

nnProvides direction of daily operations of a section and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required. Develops work assignments and assesses work performance.

nnSets priorities and job assignments, coordinates with FTCE’s for troubleshooting path on Avionic/Mechanical issues and regressions on Avionic systems.
n
nnWork is reviewed for overall quality and efficiency.
n
nnAbility to work any shift based on mission requirements.
n
nnWork in a very upbeat cohesive team dynamic that balances experience with technical ability to achieve overall success of a program’s needs.

nSupervises the interior completion of aircraft to include sub-assemblies, avionics, mechanics, and aircraft production sites. Ensures customer, engineering, and FAA specifications and regulations are met. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
nBasic Qualifications
nExperience operating within a DCMA Instruction 8210.1 and CGOP regulated organization
nnn8+ years F-16 or equivalent tactical fighter aircraft flightline maintenance experience, background in USAF AFSC’s 2A3X3, 2A3X4, 2A6X6, 2W1X1, or sister service MOS equivalent
n
nnMinimum of 4 years supervisory experience
n
nnExperience with flightline aircraft maintenance processes and safety procedures.
n
nnExperience leading multiple member teams of diverse aircraft maintainers to safely and efficiently complete maintenance tasks and flight test program objectives in compliance with established processes and procedures.
n
nnAbility to effectively interpret and utilize Technical Orders, Fault Isolation Manuals, Engineering Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, and Schematic Diagrams.
n
nnMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
n
nnObtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
n
nnExperience with Aircraft Parts and Material requisition processes
n
nnExperience with documentation and management of AFTO 781 series forms
n
n nDesired Skills
nnn4+ years aircraft flight test modification and maintenance experience
n
nnWork schedule forecasting and planning (long and short term)
n
nnAbility to lead in a constantly changing scheduling environment (flexible to program needs)
n
nnExcellent communication skills, both oral and written

nnFor (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
