Job description
Lee Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support patient-centered care across our Southwest Florida facilities. In this role, you will travel between clinics and hospital-based practices based on staffing needs, providing clinical and administrative support to physicians and care teams. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals and histories, performing EKGs and point-of-care tests, assisting with procedures, administering medications per policy, and documenting in the EHR. You will help manage patient flow, coordinate referrals and follow-up, reinforce education, and uphold safety and infection control standards while collaborating within a mission-driven, community-focused health system.
