**Prior dialysis experience required** CCHT certification preferred.
Locations of coverage: Based out of Burlington, WA but teammate will float primarily between Burlington, Bellingham, Ferndale, and Marysville. May sometimes be asked to work further south such as Everett, Bothell, or Lynnwood.
Schedule: Float PCT will work a mix of opening and closing shifts Monday-Saturday. Schedule will rotate and will be made in advance. Must have flexible full-time availability.
DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
Record vital signs and patient data
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

The Wage Range for the role is $21.50 - $33.00/hour. Patient Care Technician ICHD Float Experienced: $24.00 - $31.25/hour. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
