nThe Staffing Office plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal allocation of nursing and support staff across all departments.
nUnder the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
nJob Description:
nProvides direct patient care, including hygiene, toileting, feeding, positioning, and mobility assistance.
nAssists with patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and ambulation.
nPerforms delegated clinical procedures, including blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture.
nAssist nurses and physicians with patient care and procedures.
nDocuments patient care and reports changes or concerns to nursing staff.
nProvides compassionate, respectful, and responsive patient care.
nMinimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
nCurrent Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification (SRNA, CNA) required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
nBasic Life Support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don't have it already.
