nThe Floating Leasing Consultant has primary marketing responsibilities as they pertain to interfacing with prospective residents in the community, handling day-to-day issues with current residents, and coordinating the renewals of existing leases. This position does not have a single designated worksite. Instead, this position is expected to travel between and perform work at multiple properties within a designated market or region. This position is responsible for providing excellent service to all residents, prospects, and visitors at multiple properties within the position’s designated market or region.

n nWhat you’ll do to make a difference:
nnnEffectively lease apartments and sell properties products and services in accordance with budget guidelines
n
nnFollow Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
n
nnFollow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
n
nnMaintain thorough product knowledge of property, and that of major competition, and conduct outside marketing activities
n
nnCoordinate the application review for each lease including credit and income verifications
n
nnComplete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums, and other proper documentation as indicated on the checklist
n
nnEnsure the condition of leased apartments before move-in, including a final inspection and walk-through with resident
n
nnFollow up with residents throughout their lease terms and coordinate the renewal process for each lease
n
nnProvide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their needs are met
n
nn•Regular attendance and punctuality
n
n nWhat you bring to our team:
nnnBA/BS in business, sales, or related field, relevant experience, or a combination
n
nn1+ years of experience in multi-family leasing or 1+ years of experience in B2B selling desired
n
nnStrong marketing and creativity skills
n
nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
n
nnStrong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, and ability to use computer
n
nnKnowledge of Yardi Voyager, or other similar programs
n
nnSuperior interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team
n
nnAbility to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions
n
n nPhysical requirements of the job:
nnnWalking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
n
nnAbility to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
n
nnMust be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects
n

nCompensation Range
nHourly: $24.00 - $25.00
nIncentive compensation opportunities are available and are performance based.
