Pay Range: $50.00- $72.00
nSUMMARY
nThe Pharmacist ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and overseeing patient interactions. Additionally, they contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, maintain a clean work environment, and complete the necessary continuing education to uphold professional standards.
nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
nnnComplies with all applicable federal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
n
nnPrepares and dispenses prescription medications, including maintenance of necessary records, accurate third-party adjudication and patient charges, and inventory management.
n
nnCounsel’s patients and medical providers regarding the nature and use of drugs, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
n
nnParticipates in patient centered services including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
n
nnSupervises personnel in the daily operation of the pharmacy department and holds them accountable for complying with regulatory and company polices.
n
nnProvides guidance and training to pharmacy interns, technicians, and pharmacy associates while working and monitors performance.
n
nnMaintains a neat, clean, and organized workstation at all times.
n
nnCompletes required continuing education programs as required by state law.
n
nnAchievement of financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense.
n
nnMaintain security of all controlled substances
n
n nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
nnnLicensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing within the state of practice.
n
nnImmunization Certification or agreement by pharmacist to complete.
n
nnMust have a Valid Driver’s License.
n
nnMust be at least 21 years of age.
n
nnMust submit to DL Monitoring.
n
n nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
nnn5-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
n
nnGeneral knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing systems
n
nnAbility to communicate effectively: verbal, written and electronic.
n
nnStrong leadership skills and ability to manage others.
n
nnAbility to assign, prioritize, and evaluate the work of others.
n
nnProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
n
n nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
