This is a 1st shift on-site position, with hours from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Role ResponsibilitiesRecognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media processProduce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheetsPerform quality checks and tests as assignedFollow first piece and set-up sheets, Monitoring production ratesComplete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.Performs machine change overPerform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipmentComply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresUse all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredWhile this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role. Other duties may be assigned in order to fulfill Donaldson's mission, vision and strategic plan objectives.Minimum QualificationsExhibit mechanical aptitudeAbility to use computer and understand basic math principlesAbility to lift up to 35 pounds from a squat level lift from the floor to the waist, a shoulder level lift to 60 inches at 35 pounds, a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet, lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of another employeeA combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experiencePreferred QualificationsProblem solves efficiently and effectivelyWork effectively with limited supervisionMaintain consistent high quality in work habitsMaintain accurate records exhibiting attention to detailAdhere to safety proceduresExhibit attention to detailReact to change productively and to handle other tasks as assignedMaintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendanceAbility to read and understand basic statistical process control principles, and be able to read and understand a blueprintHourly Rate: $27.44Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.Employee benefits are part of the competitive total rewards package that Donaldson Company, Inc. provides to you.
