Floor HousepersonThe Floor Houseperson plays a key support role within the Housekeeping team by ensuring Guest Room Attendants are fully supplied and assisted throughout the day. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked hallways, guest floors, and service areas, while also assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties as needed to support overall resort operations.Essential Job FunctionsMaintain cleanliness of guest hallway entrances and elevator areas through regular vacuuming and upkeepClean, sweep, and mop stair landings and hallway floorsDust hallway credenzas and ensure newspapers are neatly stockedClean and maintain vending areasPick up trash and soiled linens from halls and dispose of them properlyStrip spoiled or soiled linens from guest rooms after checkout when neededKeep store rooms clean, organized, and well stockedEnsure guest room glassware and coffee mugs are washed and stocked in housekeeping closetsAssist with laundry services as neededNotify supervisors of supply shortages or inventory needsCheck vacuum cleaners twice weekly and replace bags as neededPerform housekeeping duties as needed to support daily operationsProfessional Standards & ExpectationsFollow all Horseshoe Bay Resort policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain a clean, professional appearance and proper uniform at all timesDemonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervisionBe flexible and willing to assist in other areas based on operational needsMaintain slip-resistant, closed-toe and heel footwear at all timesMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderAvailable to work weekends and holidaysWorking knowledge of cleaning equipment and suppliesSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailAbility to perform physical work throughout the shiftPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to push, pull, lift, and carry housekeeping supplies and equipmentAbility to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift items as requiredThe "Resort Life" Benefits Available to All AssociatesAssociate housing and shuttle serviceWeekly meal subsidiesGolf and amenity privileges *Retail and dining discounts throughout Horseshoe Bay ResortDiscounted stays at over 100 Crescent Hotels & Resorts properties nationwideCareer development and advancement opportunitiesAssociate appreciation events and activities throughout the year*Amenity privileges based on occupancy and business levelsFull-Time Associate BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer matchShort-term and Long-term Disability coverageAccident and Critical Illness insuranceAccess to the Associate Relief Fund for unexpected hardships
