Flooring InstallerSame great staff and customers new expanded business name. FSM Flooring and Interiors of Southeast Michigan. Previously providing services as Floor Coverings International our unique shop-at-home model allows customers to get perfect new floors and interior services like paint or drywall work, without ever leaving their home. We have an immediate need to hire hard-working, service-minded individuals with great communication skills and eager to work with many different types of customers in Southeast Michigan's Wayne county, Washtenaw, and Monroe County to name a few. Flooring installers are the front line of FSM, executing on our quality and craftsmanship at each job. Our install teams leave the lasting impression that determines our success. We respect the customer and their home, we deliver what we promise, and we clean up.Key Responsibilities:Prep and install the flooring in steps according to company's procedures with high attention to detail and careKeep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe and clean work environmentUnderstanding the scope of work of the project before you get there and familiarize yourself with the project fileResponsible to properly handle company machinery and power toolsKnowledge of units of measurement and able to complete simple math calculationsInteract with customers in a friendly and polite manner, must be trustworthy and comfortable in a customer's homeEnsure high quality company standards are met every timeWork to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every aspect of the jobJob requires travel throughout the weekQualifications:5 years in flooring installationValid driver's license and functioning vehicleAbility to lift 50 - 75 lbs repeatedlyThe position requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking and liftingThis position travels to various work locations throughout the weekCompensation: $250.00 - $2,000.00 per dayFloor Coverings International is the #1 mobile flooring franchise in North America.
