Cleaner PositionThe Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Basic Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderNo experience required and on the job training providedNo high school diploma, GED or college degree requiredPreferred Qualifications:Customer service experience1 year of similar work experienceResponsibilities:Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.Assists with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned.Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systemsEstablishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authoritiesCleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floorsRequisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance dutiesMay be expected to make basic repairsMiscellaneous duties as assignedMust be able to lift up to 50# at least 25% of the timeA good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
