Job description
Floor TechnicianThe essential functions of a Floor Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:Follow safety policies and procedures without exceptionSweep and dust mop entire area, using proper techniques to prepare floor for cleaningInspect equipment, attachments, and connections prior to use, according to standard proceduresPrepare cleaning solutions according to label directionsScrub floors with low speed floor machines or auto scrubberRemove any stubborn marks of stains in proper methodPick up excess solutions with mop or wet dry vacuumHigh speed buff floor areas to restore shineFollow standard procedures to strip floorsFollow standard procedures for applying finish to floorsPre-spot stains in carpet before prior cleaning entire areaShampoo and extract carpetRemove and replace all furnitureThoroughly clean all equipment and store each piece properlySite is to be left clean, touching up baseboards and furniture as necessaryPerforming other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor*Technicians may be asked to participate in other janitorial related tasks throughout the facility.RequirementsMust pass background checkAbility to build relationships with management and fellow employeesAbility to stay on task while working independentlyWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer who fully and actively supports equal access for all people regardless of Race, Color, Religion, Gender, Age, National Origin, Veteran Status, Disability, Genetic Information or Testing, Family and Medical Leave, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity or Expression.
