Guardian Professional services is seeking a consistently hard-working, Janitor/Custodial Specialist based out of Orlando International Airport who is committed to reliable quality service and customer relationships. We are seeking a motivated, friendly team member who will perform general cleaning duties in designated areas as needed. This is a great opportunity to work for our fast-growing company! We are currently recruiting experienced Janitorial Staff.
Job Summary
It is the intent of the basic job requirements, duties, and responsibilities that any building be kept neat and clean at all times. These minimum requirements should be referred to as a guide, rather than a limitation to, the services required to maintain a building effectively. Staff will be required to perform the necessary work to maintain the optimum level of cleanliness in every building or worksite serviced by Guardian Professional Services.
Essential Functions
Floor & Project Technicians will maintain all types of floor areas through the process of stripping/refinishing hard surface floors and shampooing carpeted areas.
Responsibilities:
Cleans and sanitizes after emergency spill clean-up requests
Change Shampoo to Extracts
Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, reporting all problems to the supervisor
Shampoo assigned carpeted areas
Maintain all assigned equipment, keep equipment clean and in good repair, report all problems and suggestions to the supervisor
Comply with all Company policies and procedures
Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor
Remove all soil, wax, and sealer from assigned hard surface floors
Uses chemicals and solutions as directed by Tech Manual
Non-Carpeted Areas
Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed
Sweep and spot mop tile floors
Complete damp mop tile floors
Dust/clean cleared desks and surfaces of tables
Miscellaneous
Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly
Equipment (such as vacuums) must be properly maintained at all times
Payrate: $15.50/hr
Job Type: Full-time - Wednesday- Sunday 10:00pm-6:30am
