We are currently recruiting experienced Janitorial.Location: Orlando International Airport : 1 Jeff Fuqua Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827Schedule: Full time 5 days/week overnight shift : 10:00pm-6:30am Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and SundayPay Type: Paid WeeklyPay: $15.50/hrEssential FunctionsFloor & Project Technicians will maintain all types of floor areas through the process of stripping/refinishing hard surface floors and shampooing carpeted areas.Responsibilities:Cleans and sanitizes after emergency spill clean up requests.Change Shampoo to Extracts.Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, reporting all problems to the supervisor.Shampoo assigned carpeted areas.Maintain all assigned equipment, keep equipment clean and in good repair, report all problems and suggestions to the supervisor.Comply with all Company policies and procedures.Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.Remove all soil, wax, and sealer from assigned hard-surface floors.Uses chemicals and solutions as directed by Tech Manual.Non-Carpeted AreasEmpty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.Sweep and spot mop tile floors.Complete damp mop tile floors.Dust/clean cleared desks and surfaces of tables.MiscellaneousMust keep janitor's closet neat and orderly.Equipment (such as vacuums) must be properly maintained at all times.Knowledge and SkillsWorking experience of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities is a MUST.Must have good listening and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to speak English and SpanishMust maintain a neat appearance. A uniform is required at some worksites.Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.Must be able to understand and anticipate the needs of the clients.Must be punctual.Education and Work ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.3-5 years of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform the following repetitive movements: stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
