Apply today and join our Environmental Services team!ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoPerform routine and specialized floor care, including stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, extracting, and buffingOperate floor care and Environmental Services equipment safely and properlyUse equipment such as extractors, auto-scrubbers, high-speed buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, steam machines, and other specialized equipmentMaintain clean and well-kept entrances and common areasEmpty refuse and waste as assignedFollow established cleaning and safety proceduresComplete assignments accurately, thoroughly, and on scheduleInspect equipment regularly and report malfunctions or repair needs to a supervisorClean, maintain, and properly store equipment after each useMonitor supplies and request additional materials as neededPerform assigned work both indoors and outdoorsTreat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect while observing resident rightsParticipate in required in-services, department meetings, and trainingFollow all facility safety, compliance, HIPAA, and infection control policiesMaintain reliable attendance and punctualityFollow facility dress code and wear required identificationSupport Elderwood's Mission, Vision, and ValuesPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age due to equipment operation requirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior janitorial, housekeeping, Environmental Services, or floor care experience desiredAbility to safely operate and learn to operate specialized floor care equipmentAbility to perform the physical requirements of an active Environmental Services positionThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
