TechnicianWe are looking for a reliable and experienced Tech to maintain and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors.ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain buildings/facilitiesFollows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixturesNotify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systemsEstablish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authoritiesClean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipmentMove cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucksClean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegeesWash and replace blindsGather and empty trashSweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasksWipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areasService, clean, and supply restroomsQualificationsRequired:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if availableNo experience required and on the job training providedNo high school diploma, GED or college degree requiredPreferred:Customer service experience1 year of similar work experienceAbout UsABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.
