FloorTechNaskila Casino - Livingston, TX 77351Job DescriptionPurpose:Provide and maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained in a manner expected by Naskila Casino.Supervisory Scope:This position directly supervises:PositionN/AEssential Job Duties/Responsibilities:Be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.Follow established safety precautions.Perform proper techniques of floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, buffed, stripped, or waxed as well as carpet cleaning.Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.Prepare all set ups with tables, chairs, and other items as directed by set-up diagram.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements:Education and Experience:High School diploma or GED.Minimum of (6) months experience as a floor tech.Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and write the English language.Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other Team Members of the organization.Ability to apply common sense understanding.Ability to demonstrate Quality Problem Solving, Professionalism, Guest Services, Safety and Security Motivation, Oral Communications, Attendance/Punctuality, Teamwork, Initiative, Ethics, Quality Judgment, Dependability, Planning and Organizing.Required Training:New Team Member OrientationTeam Member Policy HandbookDepartment Policy HandbookGuest Service StandardsAny position related training deemed necessary by Department ManagerConditions of Employment:Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies.Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations.Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies.Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.Practice good personal hygiene.Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.Guest Service Expectations:Delight Our GuestsPay Attention to DetailsHelp Other Team Members Succeed
