URGENT HIRING – Florida Psychiatrists (MD)
Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Evaluation Provider
Flexible Scheduling • Competitive Per-Evaluation Compensation • Immediate Openings
Chrysalis Health is urgently hiring Florida-licensed Psychiatrists (MD) to conduct psychiatric and court-related evaluations for youth referred by the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) .
This is a high‑need role with immediate opportunities statewide , ideal for psychiatrists seeking assessment‑based work , professional autonomy, and flexibility alongside private practice or other clinical commitments.
Role Overview
Perform psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations for DJJ‑involved youth
Review medical, psychiatric, and collateral records
Provide clear diagnostic opinions and treatment recommendations
Conduct evaluations on‑site at DJJ facilities (no ongoing medication management required)
Compensation
Competitive per‑evaluation pay (1099 contractor)
Reliable referral flow
Opportunities for additional evaluation types based on expertise
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
Experience with psychiatric evaluations, forensic work, or juvenile populations preferred
Ability to perform in‑person evaluations
Strong diagnostic and documentation skills
