Job description
We are seeking an outgoing general Physiatrist to join a well-established team in the beautiful West Coast of central FL in the Tampa Bay region. Enjoy the benefits of working in a top-tier medical center that has been providing award-winning healthcare as a Level II Trauma Center to the community and filling its mid-sized rehabilitation unit with excellent patients from services lines including stroke, cardiac, burns, and more. The unit is staffed by an experienced team, and our new colleague will be joining a physiatrist looking to slow down, so you’ll have a ready-made practice to step into. Medical leadership responsibilities can be added for the right person, as this program is growing. This is a great opportunity to be well supported by the hospital as you start your own private practice and bill fee-for-service; a great financial reward as well as a fulfilling quality of life opportunity. You can design your own professional and personal life.
Key Highlights
Consistent inpatient service serves as the foundation of the practice
Hospital support to start outpatient clinics as part of your practice, focused on your niche interests (consults, follow-ups, procedures)
This is a teaching hospital, so you have residents and student educational opportunities.
Experienced physiatry colleagues to share the caseload
Excellent Compensation: Great income guarantee with the ability to bill fee-for-service.
The more patients you see, the more you’ll make, but benefit from the steady patients provided by the hospital
Manage your time to suit your lifestyle and balance.
The area offers a wonderful quality of life with year-round sunshine, stunning Gulf Coast beaches, and a vibrant community. Whether you’re looking for a strong career opportunity or a beautiful place to call home, this position is an excellent match.
