Fluid Plant Supervisor - 2nd ShiftGrassland Dairy Products, Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of butter and dairy ingredients since 1904 and we are always looking to add to our team. Our company offers the most comprehensive benefits package in the area to our employees, generous paid time off, and competitive wages.The Fluid Plant Supervisor is responsible for leading shift operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This role requires proactive leadership, strong decision-making skills, and a hands-on approach to managing daily production activities. The Supervisor ensures all team members adhere to established procedures, identifies and implements process improvements, and collaborates across departments to maintain a productive and safe work environment. A strong focus on coaching, accountability, and performance optimization is essential for success in this role.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipAchieve production goals and schedules established by management.Oversee employee scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels.Monitor daily production performance and evaluate plant efficiencies.Address operational issues in real time to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting as needed to support operations.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless plant operations.Continuous Improvement & Process ManagementContinuously monitor work instructions, processes, and equipment to identify improvement opportunities.Develop and update work instructions and process logs as needed.Corrective actionsAuditsIFSA requirementsSafety Committee projectsDrive accountability for completing assigned improvement initiatives.Safety & Quality OversightEnforce all Grassland Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), work instructions, and standard operating procedures.Ensure strict adherence to food safety and regulatory requirements.Conduct weekly employee meetings covering safety, quality, and operational efficiency.Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous quality improvement.Team Leadership & DevelopmentHandle all departmental discipline and performance evaluations.Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve skill sets and performance.Foster accountability and ownership among employees.Maintain high morale and motivation throughout the department.Lead by example with a positive, confident, and professional attitude.Summary of Benefits:Health & Dental Insurance – 100% of premiums paid by the company with low deductibles.401(k) Retirement Plan – With 5% company match after 6 months of employment.Weekly Pay through Direct Deposit.Double-time pay – Weekends.Paid Time Off – Includes vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance.YMCA membership rate reductions (Neillsville and Marshfield locations).Company-provided Life insurance coverage.Hiring Bonus – $2,000 sign-on bonus.Reimbursements – Safety Footwear and Glasses.Referral Bonuses – Earn rewards for bringing great people to the team.Professional Growth – Opportunities for training, advancement, and career development.Compensation for this position is commensurate with education, experience, and relevant qualifications.Position Requirements - Education/Experience/Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience.Minimum of high school degree; Associates or Bachelors preferred.Dairy manufacturing knowledge is a plus (ex.
