Job description
Folder OperatorWe are actively hiring for the position of Folder Operator for our plant in Brooklyn, OH.Shifts:1st Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm2nd Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pmDuties & ResponsibilitiesAccess IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.Place printed jobs on the folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications.Observe the folding machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate fold run.Replace worn-out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure an accurate fold, using hand tools when required.Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of any safety hazards.Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.QualificationsGood problem-solving skillsGood organizational skillsAttention to detailGood communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with the Press OperatorAbility to use hand/power tools and use them safelyAbility to multitask with changing prioritiesAbility to recognize safety issues & corrective actionsPhysical ActivityAble to lift up to 50 lbs (50% of time)Able to stand for 8 hoursWalking and moving around the work area (50% of the time)Perks and BenefitsCollaborate with leading print professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech, safe, and enjoyable environmentCompetitive pay and growth opportunities.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (location-specific).Employer match 401(k) up to limits.Company-sponsored Life and AD&D Insurance.Flexible Spending Account and voluntary benefits.Paid holidays and PTO.Employee discounts on all products.Company-sponsored training and certifications.Fun workplace and wellness events, and morePlease note: Actual compensation within the range will depend on various factors including the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
