nAs the Food & Beverage Accounting Manager you'll be part of the team responsible for ensuring the accurate management and reporting of the location's finances - working with the location leadership team to develop action plans to continually drive financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Finance/Accounting professional. They will understand financial concepts and how these relate to operational procedures and outcomes.

nDetailed Responsibilities

nnnSupporting accurate and timely of reporting of financial reporting

n

nnAssisting location operations management teams with understanding and responding to financial information

n

nnManaging all aspects of the administration and reporting of financial information at the location

n

nnWorking with operations teams to help them understand financial data and take actions to drive improvements where necessary

n

nnWorking closely with partner finance team where applicable

n

nnSupporting in the completion of a monthly close of the general ledger

n

nnAssist with the proactive management of accounts receivable at the location based on the terms of our contractual agreements

n

nnCompleting the Monthly Sales Report (MSR) each day and in producing a balanced month end MSR

n

nnMonitoring and managing credit card settlements

n

nnManaging wire transfer requests and subcontractor payments

n

nnManaging an accurate and timely month-end close process

n

nnSupporting budgetary processes including the posting of AP accruals and transfers

n

nnOverseeing the timely collection accounts receivable

n

nnBalancing of direct bills and invoice adjustments

n

nnProactive management of accounts receivable at the location based on the terms of our contractual agreements

n

nnEnsuring appropriate retention and management of all documentation

n

nnOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

n nSkills and Experience

nnn1+ years in a Finance/Accounting role

n

nnHigh level of computer literacy

n

nnPassion for hospitality, food, and retail

n

nnExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

n

nnCPA certification is preferred

n

nnOperational experience in food and beverage is preferred
