Manchester Country Club,locatedin Bedford, NH , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast ‑ pacedhospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon ,you’llcontribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor (F&B Supervisor) is a key member of the management team and is responsible for the oversight of food and beverage operations at the property. This includes the hiring, training and supervising of all related F&B service and food production staff. The F&B Supervisor will apply all of their experience and knowledge to assuring that the wants and needs of guests are consistently met and/or exceeded.

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of all dining room service personnel. Assures a high level of hospitality and service from all personnel. Makes certain that the appearance and cleanliness of dining room is of the highest standard. Assures that guest expectations are consistently exceeded.

Essential Job Functions:

Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guests and employees.

Motivates and directs staff members on a daily basis.

Performs daily cash reconciliation.

Receives and greets members and guests.

Suggests and describes menu items; alcoholic beverages and wine to members and their guests.

Inspects all linens daily for proper appearance.

Inspects all tables before meal service for proper appearance.

Handles minor member complaints and reports all other complaints to food and beverage manager or club manager.

Assures that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed.

Assures that opening and closing duties are performed by service staff.

Manages guest reservations.

Assists with food and beverage service, if needed.

Attends staff meetings and pre-shift line-up meetings.

Assists in preparing work schedules for dining room personnel.

Education/ Certificates/ Licenses/ Training

High School Diploma preferred. Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.

Experience/ Background/ Knowledge

Knowledge of dining room operations required.

Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with managers, guests and employees both verbally and in writing. Must be able to perform basic math computations.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
