Production & Logistics LeadButter Pecan Bakeshop is looking for a Production & Logistics Lead to help keep our production facility running smoothly. This hands-on role works alongside our production team to support daily workflow, quality control, order accuracy, and a clean, organized production floor — while helping the Production Manager catch issues early and keep things on track. This is a lead position, not a supervisory role. You'll help direct day-to-day workflow, reinforce quality and food safety standards, and make sure production priorities stay on track. You'll have the opportunity to provide meaningful operational input and grow into greater responsibility as you demonstrate strong performance and our production operation continues to scale.Butter Pecan Bakeshop is a cookie shop inspired by childhood favorites and classic southern recipes. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and superstar candidates will be contacted for interviews.Production & Quality SupportHelp carry out daily production plans and keep work on schedulePerform quality checks on weight, appearance, packaging, and labeling — and hold or flag anything that doesn't meet standardWatch for safety, sanitation, or equipment issues and help resolve them before they become bigger problemsOrders & LogisticsVerify outgoing corporate and franchise orders for accuracy — product, quantity, packaging — before they go out the doorMake sure dough and supply shipments are packed accurately and completely before they leave the facilityHelp stage finished product and coordinate with deliveryTrack inventory of ingredients, packaging, and supplies and flag shortages earlyTeam & Shift AccountabilityGive day-to-day direction to production team members on tasks and prioritiesReview open items from the prior shift and sign off on your own shift before you leaveSupport onboarding and training of new production team membersServe as a point of contact on the floor when the Production Manager is stepping awayCleanliness & ComplianceHelp keep production, storage, and shipping areas clean and audit-readyFollow and reinforce food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standardsWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of experience in food production, commercial baking, food manufacturing, warehouse/logistics, or hospitality operationsFood Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and comfort speaking up when something's offAbility to stay level-headed and organized under pressureMust be 18+, have reliable transportation, and be eligible to work in the U.S.Nice to HavePrevious experience in a lead or shift leadership roleBackground in a commercial bakery or food manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with quality control, inventory, or order fulfillmentWork Environment & Physical DemandsIndoor commercial bakery and production setting with varying temperatures from ovens, refrigeration, and freezer storage.
