Job description
The Utah Department of Health and Human Services seeks an Environmental Health Scientist - Food Protection and Safety Lead to serve as the primary Food Protection Lead and Standardizing Authority for Utah. You will interpret, update, and clearly convey the intent of food safety rules to federal, state, and local partners.
This role requires LEHS licensure (or reciprocity) and a relevant bachelor's degree; experience in rule drafting or public health guidance is preferred.
