FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Director to join our team at RegalCare at Lowell, a leading healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients and residents. As a Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of our food service department, ensuring the highest quality of service and patient satisfaction.
About the Role:
As a Food Service Director at RegalCare at Lowell, you will be responsible for the overall direction and management of our food service operations. This includes:
Developing and implementing menus, meal plans, and food service programs that meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents
Managing a team of dietary staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
Coordinating with our clinical and support staff to ensure seamless meal delivery and patient satisfaction
Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for food service operations
Developing and managing department budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of dietary staff, including food service assistants, cooks, and dietitians
Develop and implement menus and meal plans that meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents
Coordinate with clinical and support staff to ensure meal delivery and patient satisfaction
Manage food service operations, including food procurement, preparation, and service
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for food service operations
Develop and manage department budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements:
FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR with a minimum of 0 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring a team
Ability to develop and implement menus and meal plans that meet the nutritional needs of patients and residents
Knowledge of food service operations, including food procurement, preparation, and service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
