About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Pudgy's Sports Bar & Grill, McGuire AFB, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
Operates, breaks down and cleans all electrical equipment for food preparation. Cleans kitchen equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators). Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Washes tables and counters, vacuums and shampoos carets. Sweeps an mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans. Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items (e.g., salad, dessert, bread and cold beverages) on a serving line. Removes dishes and trays from tables. Sorts, washes, peels and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to read and understand written material, as well as being able to follow simple oral instructions. Must be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Must be able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push and bend for long periods of time.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
