Food Service AssociatePerforms a variety of food service duties to support the safe preparation, assembly, and delivery of meals for patients, visitors, and staff. Ensures a clean, efficient, and customer-focused environment while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficientlySet up, stock, and maintain tray line, cafeteria, and kitchen stationsPrepare basic food items for meal service and support kitchen operationsMaintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and service stationsOperate dish machines, handle waste removal, and perform general sanitation tasksClean and reset stations, equipment, and floors after meal serviceMonitor supplies and report shortages or concerns to supervisorsProvide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs promptlySupport department goals related to service quality and operational efficiencyAssist with training and cross-training of team membersKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasksStrong customer service skills with a positive and team-oriented attitudeAbility to read menus and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to follow safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelinesAbility to push carts and transport food and suppliesAdditional Job Details (if applicable)High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrior food service experience preferredOnsite role in a fast-paced hospital settingRequires standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the shiftSchedule includes rotating shifts, evenings, and weekendsMinimum Starting Payrate:$18.10Schedule: Wed 10:30am - 7pm, Thursday & Fri 4pm-7:30pm, Sat 10:30am - 7pm, Sunday 4pm - 7:30pmWork Location: 1153 Centre StreetScheduled Weekly Hours: 26.5Employee Type: RegularWork Shift: Rotating (United States of America)Pay Range: $18.10 - $24.36/HourlyEEO Statement:2810 Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
