Job description
Ford Technician Opportunity in Fruitland, Idaho
If you’re a Ford technician in the Bountiful or Salt Lake metro area, you’ve likely seen how quickly the Wasatch Front has changed. More traffic. Higher housing costs. Longer commutes. More pressure inside the shop and less time outside of it.
Ontario Auto Ranch Ford in Fruitland, Idaho is offering experienced Ford technicians the opportunity to earn top-level compensation while stepping into a lifestyle that gives you more room to breathe — both financially and personally.
We are looking for technicians with at least 2 years of Ford dealership or structured shop experience who are ready for a long-term opportunity in a productive, professional dealership environment.
Why Technicians Are Looking Toward Idaho
Compared to the Bountiful and greater Salt Lake market, Fruitland offers:
Lower overall cost of living
More affordable housing and land ownership opportunities
Shorter commutes and less daily congestion
Open spaces and a quieter pace outside of work
Easy access to hunting, fishing, camping, boating, hiking, and off-road recreation
A strong work-life balance that’s becoming harder to find in larger metro areas
Many technicians are surprised by how much further a $40–$50/hour income goes in western Idaho compared to the Salt Lake City market.
