We are seeking a Foreman to lead a 3-5 person crew on telecommunications and utility construction projects. This working foreman role provides on-site leadership while performing hands-on tasks including equipment operation, trenching, installation, and site preparation. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, and travel to job sites—including overnight out-of-town assignments—is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Lead a 3-5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects

* Maintain a safe job site and ensure crew compliance with safety procedures

* Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals

* Perform hands-on tasks alongside the crew

* Conduct job-site and equipment inspections

* Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers

* Support a team-oriented work environment and encourage crew development and growth

* Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions

* Travel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be required

* Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed

Position Requirements

* Experience as a Foreman in telecom, utility, or construction

* 3-5+ years of industry experience

* Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and utility-location awareness

* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and job specifications

* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew

* Proficiency operating heavy equipment

* Willingness to perform labor tasks when equipment operation is not required

* Ability to adapt, solve problems in the field, and support continuous improvement within the crew

* Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain

* Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safe work practices

* Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed
