Location: South Gate, CA
Pay Rate: $19.50 - $20.48 per hour
Shift: 1st/2nd

Ready to launch your manufacturing career in the aerospace industry? We are seeking motivated Forge Apprentices to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who want to develop specialized skills in forging, heat treatment, inspection, and metal processing.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required
Experience in metal manufacturing, forging, machining, or production environments is a plus
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Job Duties
Perform final surface inspection and conditioning of forged parts before shipment
Apply product identification markings according to specifications
Prepare furnace loads based on material type and production requirements
Verify part counts, straightness, and flatness before and after heat treatment
Perform cold and hot straightening of materials as needed
Conduct hardness inspections on forged products
Assist with furnace startup and monitor heat treatment processes
Support production operations and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
Physical Capabilities
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Steel-toed boots required
