Now hiring for a Forklift Operator
Location: Fife, WA
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with some weekend work during peak periods. Start times vary and begin at 7:00 PM or later.
Candidates must be flexible, as shifts can range from 5-8 hours depending on daily mail volume.

Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
At least 6 months of warehouse experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple warehouse duties
Must be able to pass a written forklift exam and forklift driving test
Job Duties
Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack Gaylords and mail throughout the warehouse
Load and unload trucks for delivery
Inspect shipments before loading and unloading
Assist with manual material handling and unloading products by hand as needed
Sort and process mail
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
Communicate effectively with leads and team members
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.
Physical Capabilities
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
